ABOUT ME
Hi! I'm Katie and I am passionate about helping students reach their greatest potential by utilizing engaging resources, building a positive rapport, and gauging materials towards their interests. I am a firm believer that anything can be a learning experience, and I model this by seeking out new opportunities and constantly expanding my knowledge base.

Home for me is in Fallsington, Pennsylvania where my parents and three younger siblings live. I went through the Pennsbury School District, graduating in 2018 from Pennsbury High School.
I am a graduate from Saint Joseph's University with a major in PreK-4 education and a major in PreK-8 special education, as well as a minor in communications. With these degrees, I hope to show students the benefit of education and motivate students to become independent learners.
SKILLS
LEADERSHIP
As the oldest of 4 siblings, I have always considered myself a leader. Whether I am working on a group project, running a meeting, or rushing my siblings to the car for basketball practice, I am comfortable taking charge and making sure that everything gets done.
CREATIVITY
I enjoy working on projects ​where I can add my own sense of style. Thinking outside of the box is where I'm able to thrive most.
ADAPTABILITY
When working with kids, there are lots of things that don't always go as planned. Therefore, I've learned to ​adjust my teaching on the fly in accordance to what the students need, technical difficulties, and other circumstances.
ORGANIZATION
I believe that being organized can help children and adults alike sort through their thoughts, prioritize, and work towards success. ​
